The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has been open for 2026-27 since 1 June 2026. For college and university students, the PM-USP Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) renewal closes on 31 October 2026. From this year a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
Why hasn’t the money reached my account?
Scholarships are paid only to an Aadhaar-seeded bank account. Check with ‘Check Aadhaar Seeding Status’ on NSP; if it isn’t seeded, you can do it yourself on NPCI’s BASE platform. See payment status under ‘Track Your Payment’.
